Ministry of Rural Transformation continues to restore rural roads to support community development

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour, and Local Government continues the initiative to restore rural roads in order to support community development. 

The Ministry is aware that farmers and residents in most rural communities struggle to acquire access to their produce.

“The main obstacle is a lack of decent roads for these farmers to transport their crops from the villages. These poor roads also prevent children from attending school and sick individuals from reaching health care centers,” the Ministry noted.

Minister of Rural Transformation, Oscar Requena has resumed road works in the Silver Creek Village, Toledo District.
