Belize Weather: Moist and unstable conditions setting in

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be cloudy in spells today and tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect some coastal areas and the sea this morning, then most areas this afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will re-develop along the coast tonight.

High temperatures will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 94 degrees over inland areas and 81 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight range from 78 degrees along the coast to 73 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northeasterly at five to 15 knots and sea conditions are running slight.

Tides will be high at 9:00 this morning and 9:22 tonight and low at 3:29 this afternoon. Sunset is at 5:43 this evening and sunrise on Friday morning at 5:42.

Outlook for Friday and Friday night is for showers and thunderstorms to continue affecting the country, especially coastal areas.
