Call center agent charged for assaulting woman with pint bottle

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A call center agent is out on bail after being charged with aggravated assault for allegedly attacking another woman with a pint bottle.

Stacey Reynolds, 30, was arraigned in court this morning on a single charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Reynolds pleaded not guilty to the charge and there was no objection to bail.

She was offered bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount. In court, Reynolds said it was the victim who came to her house and instigated the altercation that she ended up being charged with. She inquired about making a counter claim against the other woman.

The terms of her bail stipulate that she must remain at least 100 yards away from the victim and must not contact or interfere with her.
