Police detain two following murder of David Philips on John Smith Road

By Aaron Humes: Two men have been detained pending investigation in the murder of David Philips on Thursday at an unfinished residence along the John Smith Link Road.

Philips was found by workers at the site around 9 a.m. with injuries suspected to have come from a cement block.

Police say they have impounded and searched a vehicle believed to be connected with the incident. Their investigation continues.
