Traffic accident in San Ignacio damages lamp post

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Just after 12 a.m. on Saturday, the driver of a white SUV crashed into a lamp post on Burns Avenue in San Ignacio near Atlantic Bank.

The Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) is onsite conducting repairs to restore power to San Ignacio.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the accident since police are yet to issue an official report.
