Man spared charge of pulling gun on woman after she wanted no further action

By Aaron Humes: Lords Bank Village resident Aaron Flowers was spared in court today after being read a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm upon a woman.

Flowers was charged for the incident in September but the accuser appeared in court to say she wanted no further action against the accused and so the charge was dismissed.

Had the case proceeded he would have faced remand and obtaining the services of an attorney to apply for bail at the High Court.

Flowers was recently in the news after a Sergeant of Police was charged for beating and wounding him while in their custody. He had been accused of shooting at the officer’s house and the officer attacked him at the station before his colleagues could intervene and lay charges.
