Osocity drops first ever Punta Mix filmed on Belize Barrier Reef

By Breaking Belize News Staff: World renowned DJ Osocity, known for his many mixes, recently dropped off his first ever Punta Mix, filmed on the beautiful Belize Barrier Reef.

Osocity has made several appearances in Belize since his first show in San Pedro, where he was received with a large and enthusiastic crowd.

“I’ve always wanted to create this mix for all of your and I’m so happy that its finally here! Punta is an Afro-indigenous dance and cultural music originated by The Garifuna people. It has African and Arawak elements which are also the characteristics of the Garifuna language.

Im so blessed to have filmed my First ever Punta Mix in The Beautiful Belize Barrier Reef! The Barrier Reef Reserve System lies about half a mile off the winward side of the island. It is the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second longest in the world. It has some of the most crystal clear blue water I have never seen in my life! I absolutely Love The Jewel! You Better Belize It!”
