Contributed by the Ministry of Economic Development: The Government of Belize through the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment has received financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards the cost of Resilient Rural Belize Programme, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the recruitment of consulting services provided by an individual consultant for the updating of Agrilinks for BMDC.
The consulting services (“the services”) include: upgrading and updating of the existing Agrilink Website using the most updated technology to make the website user friendly and design and execution of training to farmers in use of updated Agrilinks website. Duration of the assignment is for a period of 6.5 months.

The Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment/Resilient Rural Belize Programme now invites eligible Individual consultants (“consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services in the form of a Curriculum Vitae (CV). A consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection (ICS) method set out in IFAD’ Project Procurement Handbook that can be accessed via the IFAD website at www.ifad.org/project-procurement. Interviews will be conducted as part of the selection process.
Individual Consultants interested in receiving the completed Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) document for this consultancy should register their interest by sending an e-mail (with subject: Request for REOI – Updating of AGRILINKS for BMDC) to the address below. In addition, any request for clarification on this REOI should be sent via e-mail no later than September 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The client will provide responses to all clarification requests by October 9, 2023.
Expressions of interest consisting of submission form (EOI-1) and Curriculum Vitae (CV) (EOI-2) must be delivered via email, in pdf format as a single document, to the address below, by October 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
