Ministry of Agriculture facilitates Pitahaya training in Orange Walk

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise is facilitating a Pitahaya training in Orange Walk.

The training is being held at the Yo Creek Agric Station today and tomorrow.

The workshop includes such topics as propagation, weed control, fertilization and intercropping, and will include discussions on marketing and field demonstrations.

It has the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise, the Belize Marketing and Development Corporation, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
