Shooting in Dangriga: One person held in attack on Vincent Martinez

By Aaron Humes: Police say they have detained one person in connection with the overnight Saturday shooting of 31-year-old Vincent Martinez in Dangriga Town.

Martinez was shot while on his way home on a bicycle and made it all the way home before he collapsed. He was hospitalized at the Southern Regional Hospital.

Police believe the incident is gang-related and the result of a rivalry between gangs in the vicinity of Riverside Street near downtown Dangriga.
