The mystery of missing Belize City youth Malachai Hamilton

By Aaron Humes: 17-year-old Malachai Hamilton has been missing since September 22 as reported by his father, and was last seen in Belize City on October 3, a week ago.

But at first glance according to police, he does not appear to be in any mortal danger: there are no reports he has been threatened or targeted because of his relations, and he is not known to police to be associated with any gangs.

Nonetheless, police are following up various leads, conducting searches, and interviewing persons as part of their continuing investigations.
