By Aaron Humes: Police were called to resolve a messy quarrel in Belize City on Sunday evening.
Initial reports were of a chopping incident on Lakeview Street; but responding officers were directed to Racoon Street where they met a crowd arguing and behaving in disorderly fashion.
At the center was one Aaron Gordon of Lakeview Street, seen with blood pouring from his head. He told officers that earlier in the evening he and his brother Kenrick, 23, got into a misunderstanding with his cousin Kenyon Flores and Flores’ brothers, in which Flores allegedly hit him in the head with an empty quarter bottle, causing his injury.
While officers spoke with Aaron Gordon, Kenrick Gordon and Kenyon Flores started arguing in front of the police and attempted to fight.
They were separated, each detained and escorted to the Racoon Street police station where they will be charged with disorderly conduct.
Police investigations continue.
