By Rubén Morales Iglesias: After the official field recognition session last night at the Dame Flora Duffy Sports Complex in Devonshire in Bermuda, the Belize Men’s National Football Team (BMNT) are now in high spirits ahead of their Tuesday Concacaf Nations League B match against Bermuda. The game is scheduled for 4:30 pm on Tuesday, October 17.
“Despite a tough loss in our last game against Bermuda, Team Belize is not giving up,” the Football Federation of Belize said in a social media post on Tuesday morning.
“We’re using this setback as motivation to strive for greatness. We believe in the power of positivity, and we know that it will uplift our team’s morale and fighting spirit.”

The BMNT suffered a devastating defeat to Bermuda 1-0 last Friday at the FFB Stadium which dumped them into last place in Group C behind new leaders French Guiana (7 points), St Vincent and the Grenadines (6 points), and Bermuda (4 points).
But that’s now history and the BMNT flew Bermuda for their fourth match in the regional championship intent on turning things around to avert remaining in last place which would relegate Belize to Concacaf’s League C, the lowest rung in the regional competition.
In other Group C action, French Guiana moved up to the top spot by beating up-to-then leaders Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 3-2 on Monday at the Stade Pierre-Aliker in Fort-de-France, capital of Martinique.
