Shyne celebrates 45th birthday in the UK with former boss Diddy

By Aaron Humes: It’s a happy 45th birthday for Leader of the Opposition Moses “Shyne” Barrow, who has been busy touring various locations in the United States and United Kingdom in recent weeks.

But he chose to spend his day of celebration with reunited mentor Sean Combs, alias P. Diddy, who delivered his best rendition of “Happy Birthday” with cake in tow per a video posted by Barrow to Facebook. The two were together on stage during a special concert Tuesday night at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire Arena.

Barrow’s caption accompanying the video read, “In the tradition of Abraham and Moses I bless all of you on my birthday with happiness, good health and prosperity.”

After a successful series of rap albums cut short by prison time and deportation to Belize, Barrow rebuilt his reputation by winning the Mesopotamia seat held by uncle Michael Finnegan in 2020, then became Leader of the Opposition months later and of the United Democratic Party thereafter. He was recently reendorsed in both positions at the party’s National Convention.
