Undefeated Venom clash with Belmopan Thunder in Friday’s nightcap in San Ignacio & Santa Elena Champions for Climate Change Basketball Tournament

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The San Ignacio & Santa Elena Basketball Association (SSBA) Champions for Climate Change Basketball Tournament features six games tonight, Friday, and six on Sunday at the Victor Galvez Stadium in San Ignacio.

Undefeated Venom, who sports a 2-0 record in Group 2 in the Men’s Senior category, will face off with the Belmopan Thunder, who have a 2-1 record, at 9:30 pm.

In the second to last game in the same group action, Invaders (0-1) play against Alphas (0-2), both looking for their first win. The game starts at 8:30 pm.

Action starts at 6:30 pm between The Burnz and BECOL in the Under 8 category.

The SSBA said it switched Saturday’s games to Sunday as the venue is not available.

2:45 p.m. (Over 35):  Game 4 — Old Skool Squad vs. Miss N Ketch
