Ministry of Education suspends classes in Belize City due to heavy rains and flooding

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology (MOECST) has called off classes for Belize City today.

Moments ago, the ministry issued an urgent public notice, explaining that classes were being suspended at all levels. The Ministry also urged schools to hold online classes.

The announcement comes after persistent rains between last night and this morning caused flooding in several areas within Belize City.
