By Rubén Morales Iglesias: On Wednesday, Concacaf confirmed the schedule of 28 matches in the 2023 Road to Concacaf W Gold Cup, including Belize Women’s National Team’s (BWNT) games.
Undefeated Belize, who currently lead Group A in League C, will play Bonaire at 8:00 pm (6:00 pm – Belize time) at Stadion Antonio Trenidat in Rincon, Bonaire on Thursday, November 30.

Belize will then close against Aruba on Monday, December 4, at 3:00 pm (1:00 pm -Belize time) at the Compleho Guillermo P Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba, on Monday, December 4.
Aruba will face Turks & Caicos Islands in Oranjestad at 3:00 pm (1:00 pm – Belize time) on November 30. Turks and Caicos will close their participation at home against Bonaire at 4:00 pm (3:00 PM – Belize time) on December 4.

Belize currently lead Group A with 12 points, followed by Aruba with six, Bonaire with four, and Turks and Caicos with one. Belize only need one point to top the group and get promoted to League B.
“At the conclusion of the event, the top finishers in each League A group (three teams) will qualify for the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup Group Stage,” Concacaf said.
“Furthermore, the second-place finishers in each League A group (three teams) and the first-place finishers in each League B group (three teams) will advance to the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup Prelims.
“The inaugural edition of the Concacaf W Gold Cup will be played between February 17 – March 10, 2024, in the United States. To date, seven nations have secured their participation in the competition. This includes the United States, Canada, and four CONMEBOL guests for the Group Stage, and El Salvador for the Prelims.”

Though it’s called the November window, the tournament’s closing 28 matches will be played between November 29 – December 5, 2023.
