Belize Weather: Fair and dry heading into holiday weekend

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair and dry conditions will prevail according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be sunny and tonight clear to partly cloudy with little or no rainfall expected.

High temperatures peak at 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees inland and 72 degrees in the hills. It will be 72 degrees tonight in coastal areas, 66 degrees inland and 60 degrees in the highest elevations.

Winds are westerly to northwesterly at 10 to 15 knots and sea state is choppy.

Tides will be low this morning at 7:13 and this evening at 6:02 and high at 1:38 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:16 this evening and rises at 5:58 Saturday morning.

Similar weather conditions should be expected through Saturday.
