38-year-old Gregory Johnson murdered on Friday night, Police searching for killer

By Aaron Humes: In the first murder in Belize City to be reported for several weeks, Gregory Johnson, 38, was fatally shot Friday night near his home in the Fabers’ Road Extension area.

Police report that Johnson, at a few minutes before midnight was walking on Fabers Road Extension heading toward his home on Jaguar Avenue.

The gunman approached Johnson and fired several shots before escaping in a white car. Johnson died a few minutes later after being taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Police have identified two persons wanted in connection with the ongoing investigation.
