Cayo’s San Marcos RC clinches National Sports Council’s National Primary Schools Boys Volleyball Championship for 3rd consecutive year

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Cayo District San Marcos RC Holy Redeemer RC Primary School captured its third consecutive National Sports Council’s (NSC) National Primary Schools Boys Volleyball Championship in Dangriga on Friday, November 24.

San Marcos beat Corozal’s Mary Hill RC School 2-1 (25-22, 16-25, 15-12) in the Final at the Russell ‘Chiste’ Garcia Auditorium to claim national glory led by MVP Brandon Quintanilla.

Orange Walk’s Chan Pine Ridge Government School took third place by doubling up on the Belize District’s All Saints Anglican School 2-1 (25-21, 18-25, 15-8).

San Marcos made it to the championship game beating Chan Pine Ridge 2-1 (25-7, 11-25, 15-4) while Mary Hill advanced by eliminating All Saints 2-0 (25-23, 25-12).
