Minister of Education announces expansion of Education Upliftment Project to Julian Cho Technical High School

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On November 24, 2023, during his tour at Julian Cho Technical High School, the Minister of Education Francis Fonseca announced that Julian Cho Technical High School will be included in the Government of Belize’s Education Upliftment Project.

The expansion of the Education Upliftment Project will continue in the next academic year with 12 additional schools from across the country.

The Education Upliftment Project is a comprehensive project that eliminates tuition and fees and provides support for daily healthy meals, uniforms, transportation, learning device needs and improvement to school infrastructure and resources.
