Belizean nurses depart for Taiwan to complete 18-month training program

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Health and Wellness in collaboration with the Chi Mei Medical Center in Tainan Taiwan continues to collaborate in partnership with focus on strengthening nursing education and opportunities for specialization in nursing.

Through a partnership that began in 2019, the 2nd cohort of Registered Nurses are now travelling to Taiwan to complete an 18-month training program in Operating Room Nursing.

The Ministry extends appreciation to Chi Mei Medical Center, the Taiwan Embassy in Belize and the Government of Taiwan.

The Ministry extended well wishes to the nurses.
