BREAKING: Woman stabbed to the throat in Burrell Boom

By Aaron Humes: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has received reports of a stabbing that occurred a short while ago in the village of Burrell Boom, Belize District.

Preliminary reports say a woman received a cut wound to the throat area and has been transported to hospital. The circumstances surrounding the incident and the seriousness of her injuries are not known at this time.

Police are said to have detained one person as part of an investigation.
