Japan International Cooperation Agency donates softball equipment to Punta Gorda Softball Association

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Punta Gorda Softball Association (PGSA) received a donation of softball equipment from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Belize Softball Federation reported.

The BSF said the donation was made thanks to the efforts of JICA Volunteer Coach/Trainer Noriko Okada (NSC/BSF).

The softball equipment donation is part of the ‘Smile for All in the World’ Program, which is a JICA initiative that supports sports and cultural exchange projects in developing countries.

The equipment will help the PGSA to offer softball training and competition opportunities for children aged 9-13. The PGSA previously received a donation from the BSF.
