Belize Weather: Fair weekend weather prevailing

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells. A few morning showers or isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly along some coastal areas, elsewhere shower activity will be isolated. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy and shower activity will be isolated except for the south where a few more can be expected.

Average temperatures forecast today will be 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees inland and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds will easterly at 10 to 20 knots, and sea state choppy.

Tides are high as of 7:51 this morning. A low tide occurs at 1:12 this afternoon and a high tide at 7:07 this evening.

The sun sets at 5:18 this evening and rises at 6:11 Sunday morning.

Fair weather continues on Sunday with only isolated showers.
