55-year-old Santos Oliva, a Stevedore, pleaded not guilty to allegedly assaulting John Peters on Tuesday, December 5.

Since there was no objection to bail, the Magistrate offered him bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount which he met.

Conditions to Oliva’s bail is that he is not to communicate or interfere with the virtual complainant or other prosecution witnesses.

Peters reported to Police that he and Oliva argued about Peters’ mother and Oliva drew a machete at him.
