Albert Valentine shot dead on Iguana Street Extension in first murder reported for December

By Aaron Humes: Twenty-nine-year-old Albert Valentine of West Canal Street, Belize City, is the first murder victim reported in the month of December.

This morning around 7:30 a.m., police received information of someone being shot on Iguana Street Extension, Belize City at its corner with Elston Kerr Street.

Valentine had already been transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital with gunshot injuries. 

However Valentine was pronounced dead on arrival. His body awaits a Post Mortem Examination.

Police are looking at surveillance cameras in the area as part of their ongoing investigations.
