Belize Weather: Colder than the other side of the pillow

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A cold and dry airmass dominates our weather. The National Meteorological Service forecasts skies will be clear to partly cloudy. Mostly dry and cold conditions are expected for today and tonight.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 80 degrees Fahrenheit for most of the country and 66 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 65 degrees along the coast, 58 degrees inland and 54 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be northerly to northwesterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas.

Tides will be low at 8:44 this morning, high at 2:57 this afternoon and low at half past eight tonight.

The sun sets at 5:21 this evening and rises at 6:16 Tuesday morning.

Cold and mostly dry conditions are expected for Tuesday with a chance for isolated showers developing over northern coastal areas on Tuesday night.
