Crystal Auto Rental supervisor shot by two assailants asking to rent a vehicle

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the shooting of Elmer Francisco, supervisor for Crystal Auto Rental, who was attacked at his workplace around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

According to police, Francisco went to check on the compound around 4:25. He was met by two dark-skinned men riding a red Meilun motorcycle. One was wearing a black t-shirt, white long sleeves, khaki ¾ pants and red tennis shoes, his head covered by a black and blue helmet, while the other was dressed in a camouflage jacket, black ¾ pants and red slippers and grey bucket hat.

The first man asked about renting a vehicle whereupon Francisco informed that they were all booked out. He responded by pulling out a firearm and shooting at Francisco once, then fleeing on the motorcycle toward the Haulover Bridge as Francisco collapsed.

Francisco was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he remains in stable condition as police investigation continues.
