Teenage students’ altercation in Ladyville leads to stabbing

By Aaron Humes: Police have detained a 17-year-old minor from the Vista del Mar development near Ladyville following an argument that became an altercation on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, the victim, a 16-year-old student, was walking home with friends from school when he met the accused. They began to argue and then fight.

The accused allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in his left upper back and left lower back before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment and police investigations continue.
