BREAKING: Employee of Leadership Intervention Unit injured in Tuesday night shooting

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the latest shooting incident in Belize City tonight, Tuesday, which left one man injured.

Just before 9 p.m. this evening, 31 year old Javon Abraham, an employee of the Leadership Intervention Unit (LIU) and resident of Nurse Findley Crescent, Belize City, was hanging out on the street with another man when two young men approached him on a motorcycle.

One of them fired several shots at him and he sustained one apparent gunshot (entry & exit) injury to the left upper arm.

The suspects then escaped by driving on Nurse Findley Crescent heading towards T Street

Police continue their investigations.
