By Aaron Humes: 31-year-old Caleva Elisha Jones, a maintenance worker of Barbara Harris Street, Belize City was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on a single charge of harm.
Allegations are that last week Thursday, January 25, Jones intentionally and unlawfully caused harm to Albert Wade, 23, her ex-boyfriend and a Sanitation Worker of North Creek, Belize City, by stabbing him in the chest and back following an argument.
Jones pleaded not guilty, and with no objection to bail being granted she was offered bail of $800 plus one surety of the same amount which she met.
Jones is not to contact or interfere with Albert Wade either directly or indirectly. She was allowed to retrieve her personal belongings from his residence but only with police assistance.
Jones returns to court in March.
