Lake I FC pound Stars Academy 6-0 in William Dawson Peace Cup on Saturday at MCC Grounds

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Lake I FC proved too hot to handle blasting Stars Academy 6-0 in the first match played on Saturday morning in the William Dawson Peace Cup at the MCC Grounds in Belize City.

Lawnie Leslie opened the scoring in the 8th minute. Charles James made it 2-zip in the 17th minute. Then, Akeem Baptist increased the lead to 3-0 in the 18th minute. Hubert Baptist followed, nailing Stars Academy in the 25th. Lawin Brown increased the lead to 5-0 in the 29th minute and Milton Estrada completed the scoring spree with his 42nd minute goal.

Lake I FC eased off the pressure in the second half, having secured a whooping half a dozen goals over Stars Academy.
