William Dawson Peace Cup: Lake Independence FC lead with 13 points

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Lake Independence FC lead the 12-team William Dawson Peace Cup 2024 with 13 points from five games. That’s two points more than Caesar Ridge FC who have 11 but from six games. So far, Lake I have won four games, drawn one, and are still undefeated. They’ve scored 16 goals and conceded only two.

2nd place belongs to Caesar Ridge FC who missed an opportunity to close the gap when they drew 1-1 with seventh-place Port Layola. Caesar Ridge have won three matches, drawn two, and lost one. They’ve scored thirteen goals and allowed eight so far.

Third place belongs to Hattieville United Youth Sports Club (HUYSC) with 10 points from five games. HUYSC have won three games, drawn one and lost one. They’ve scored seven and conceded 5.

Survivors find themselves in the fourth position with nine points from six games played. They’ve won two, drawn three, and lost one. Survivors have scored 18 goals and permitted 13.

Ebony Lake are in the fifth position with five games played, two won, one drawn, and two lost. So far, they’ve scored six goals and allowed eight for a total of seven points.

Sixth-place West Lake also have seven points, but have played one more game than Ebony Lake. They’ve scored 11 goals and allowed 13.

Next in line Port Loyola have only played four games. They’ve won one and drawn three. They have scored eight goals and allowed seven for a total of six points

Eighth-place Fort George have an identical one win and three draws for six points. However, they’ve only scored five goals and allowed four.

Tut Bay FC are in ninth position but they’ve only played three games. They’ve won one, drawn one, and lost one. They have scored five times and have conceded three times.

Kelly Street Bombers find themselves in the 10th position from five games played. They’ve won one and drawn one, while losing three. The Bombers have scored seven goals and allowed nine for a total of four points.

The 11th position belongs to the Sand Hill Warriors who played four games of which they’ve drawn one and lost three. They have only scored three goals and conceded 11.

Stars Academy are in the cellar with no points to show after five consecutive losses. They’ve only scored twice but have conceded 18.
