Belmopan man shot nine times after argument at nightclub

By Aaron Humes: A resident of Las Flores, Belmopan, remains hospitalized at the Western Regional Hospital after being shot as many as nine times following an argument at a nightclub early Saturday morning.

Careem Hoare told police that around 2 a.m. today, Saturday, he got into an argument with a man he knows at Starz Nightclub. He left the nightclub about 20 minutes later en route to his home and when he got there around 2:30 he was set upon and shot at multiple times. He called for police and was transported to the Western Regional Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Police are currently investigating.
