Police recover high-powered gun, drugs in San Pedro Town

By Aaron Humes: In separate searches on Friday, police recovered a high-powered weapon and stashes of drugs on the island of Ambergris Caye.

Police conducted a joint operation in San Pedro Town, which resulted in the discovery of an M4 carbine in the San Juan area in an abandoned lot.

The team also found 96 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 116 grams of suspected cannabis in the DFC area.

All properties were sealed, labeled, and deposited as found property.
