Premier League of Belize: Progresso, Police Benque Progresso drew 0-0 in Orange Walk

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Progresso played to a 0-0 with visiting Police Benque (Club Deportivo Benque) at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk in Week 7 of the Premier League of Belize 2023-24 Closing Championship at the Marion Jones Sports Complex in Belize City on Sunday.

This match was probably the best bet for either team to record a victory but it was not to be. Both remain stuck in the bottom of the standings. Progresso sit in the sixth position with six points from one win, two draws, and four losses while Police Benque languish in the cellar with two points from two draws and five losses. They are they only team that has not yet won a game this season.

In the other weekend games, Verdes edged Benque Viejo United 1-0 and Port Layola downed Bandits 3-1. The match between Wagiya and Altitude was postponed.
