Bella Vista man stabbed in the eye during bar fight

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a report of a stabbing incident on Monday afternoon in Bella Vista, Toledo District, which left a man injured in the left eye.

Around 4:20 in the afternoon police visited Bichota Bar and spoke to one David Acal, who was standing at the entrance of Bichota Bar holding his left eye with a cloth and bleeding profusely. He explained that he and another man got into an altercation, they struggled and he was stabbed in the left eye, amounting to maim.

Acal was treated at the Independence Polyclinic and police are looking for the attacker as their investigations continue.
