Benny’s Belize Hurricanes, Belmopan Trojans open Belize Elite Basketball League weekend on Friday in Belize City

The Belize Elite Basketball League features three hot games this weekend. Action starts on Friday night when the Benny’s Belize Hurricanes (3-0) host the Belmopan Trojans (1-2) at the Belize City Civic Center at 9:00 pm.

On Friday as well, the Western Ballaz (1-1) challenge the Belize City Defenders (3-0) at the Sacred Heart College Auditorium at 8:00 pm.

The final weekend game gets played on Saturday between the San Pedro Tiger Sharks (1-3) and the EZ Investments Griga Dream Ballers (0-3) at the Russell ‘Chiste’ Garcia Auditorium in Dangriga at 8:00 pm.

Last weekend, the Orange Walk Running Rebels beat the Belmopan Trojans 76-65, the Benny’s Belize Hurricanes defeated the EZ Investments Griga Dream Ballers 93-88, and the Western Ballaz won their first game defeating the San Pedro Tiger Sharks by a basket, 88-86.
