Belize Weather: Fair start to week

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Mainly fair and and dry weather conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today are forecast to be sunny with a few cloudy spells and tonight partly cloudy with little or no rainfall expected.

High temperatures peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees over inland areas and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 79 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state moderate.

Tides will be low at 9:09 this morning and high at 3:48 this afternoon. The sun sets at exactly 6 p.m. and rises at 6:08 Tuesday morning.

Mainly fair, warm and dry weather continues through Tuesday.
