By Aaron Humes: The Government of Belize announces that the public is hereby informed that with immediate effect, the Ministry of Immigration is temporarily suspending the emergency/24-hour passport service due to technical issues with the passport system.

Regular passport services will still be available. The Ministry is working diligently to address these technical difficulties and will advise the public as soon as they are resolved and the emergency/24-hour service has resumed.

The Ministry apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
