The National Agriculture and Trade Show (NATS) Committee, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise, hereby announces the winners of the Farmer of the Year 2024 competition as follows:

1. Senior Farmer of the Year: Mr. Nandy Esban Aldana of the Corozal District
2. Female Farmer of the Year: Mrs. Sarah Chub of the Belize District
3. Junior Farmer of the Year: Ms. Maura Esther Escobar of the Cayo District

The Committee congratulates all winners for their hard work and dedication and applauds all farmers for their contributions to the livelihood and well-being of the economy of our jewel Belize. Thanks also to the judges for their selfless contribution.

The National Agriculture and Trade Show Committee reminds the public that the National Agriculture and Trade Show 2024 will be held on April 26, 27, and 28 under the theme “Integrating Sustainable Food Systems: Mitigating Climate Change, Strengthening Agricultural Resilience”.
