“Despite low unemployment rates, there are still segments of our population inactive in the labor force,” the Ministry said.

The Ministry reiterated its committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive labor market that meets the evolving needs of businesses and the private sector.

“Exciting developments are underway as we partner with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to revamp our public employment system. Through this collaboration, we are establishing innovative programs, particularly targeting women, and revolutionizing our job matching processes through digitization,” the Ministry explained.
