By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On April 23, 2024, Francis Fonseca, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, welcomed the new Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) representative to Belize, Mauricio Guevara.

In their cordial discussions, they emphasised the impact of climate change on agriculture and the necessity of diversification in the agriculture sector and jointly expressed a desire for fruitful collaboration ahead.
