BEL says that Peak demand for electricity in San Pedro has experienced a sharp increase in recent months due to increased activity and the effects of high temperatures.

The company encourages Customers and the public on the island to assist by practicing energy conservation where possible.

BEL says that it continues to work towards long-term and short-term solutions to increase the energy capacity on the island.
