By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Friday, May 3, 2024, St. Vincent Pallotti R.C. School received a remarkable donation that promises to significantly enhance the learning environment for their students.
The generous contribution, valued at close to $4000.00, came from a collaborative effort involving Robert Crawford, an American citizen, Micheal Contreras from Unitedville Village, and PTA President, Zoya Usher.
The school is now equipped with the following essential resources:
Eight Fans:
These fans will provide much-needed relief from the sweltering heat inside classrooms. With Belize’s tropical climate, maintaining a comfortable temperature during school hours is crucial for both students and teachers.
New Epson Projector:
The Epson projector will revolutionize teaching methods. It allows for dynamic presentations, interactive lessons, and multimedia content. Teachers can now engage students with visual aids, enhancing their understanding of various subjects.
New Epson Printer:
The printer will streamline administrative tasks, such as printing worksheets, notices, and other essential documents. Having a reliable printer ensures efficient communication between the school and parents.
Three New Brand Radio Shack Bluetooth Speakers:
These speakers will enhance audio quality during school events, assemblies, and presentations. Whether it’s a cultural performance, guest speaker, or music for special occasions, the speakers will ensure clear sound projection.
As an American citizen, Crawford demonstrated his commitment to education by collaborating with local stakeholders.
“His dedication to improving educational facilities is commendablem,” Principal Luis Oliva said.
Contreras, representing the community of Unitedville Village, played a vital role in coordinating the donation.
“His community spirit and advocacy for quality education are invaluable,” Principal Oliva expressed.
PTA President Zoya Usher leadership within the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) facilitated this collaboration.
“Her tireless efforts ensure that our school community thrives,” Principal Oliva said.
Principal Oliva expressed heartfelt gratitude to the donors. He recognized the impact these resources will have on student learning and overall well-being.
The school community also expressed their appreciation.
The collaborative team has pledged ongoing support for urgent projects to ensure that St. Vincent Pallotti R.C. School continues to thrive.
This donation exemplifies the power of community collaboration and the shared goal of providing quality education.
“We extend our deepest thanks to Mr. Crawford, Mr. Contreras, and Mrs. Usher for their generosity. Together, we create an environment where students can learn, grow, and succeed,” Principal Oliva reiterated.
