By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: For 10 days, the San Antonio Village Council in Cayo, rangers, NEMO and volunteers have been battling fires inside the Elijio Panti National Park.
The San Antonio Village Council informed last night that despite consistent efforts, a tree fell on top of the main water pipeline.
Therefore, the water system was out of service last night and this morning as the water board works toward mending broken pipes.
The villagers have been battling fires inside the Elijio Panti National park for 10 days.
