53-year old man and a woman charged for unlicensed firearm in Dangriga

By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested and charged two persons in Dangriga for keeping firearms and ammunition without a gun license.

Police conducted searches at the home of 53-year-old Benito Eaton Cruz in Dangriga Town on Wednesday, June 19. As a result of the search, they discovered a Taurus .38 special revolver along with three live rounds of ammunition.

Benito Cruz could not produce a license for the firearm and ammunition when asked. Subsequently, police formally arrested and charged Benito Cruz and 48-year-old Dona Cruz jointly for possessing a firearm and ammunition without a license.
