Body found this morning near San Pedro Belize Express office

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in Belize City.

This morning, Friday, at about 5:15 am, acting upon information received from the Police Control Room of a body floating in the sea by San Pedro Water Taxi located on North Front Street, Belize City, Police visited the scene where they observed a Hispanic man with shoulder length black hair wearing a red pair of boxers and blue jeans pants, floating facedown in the sea.

The dead man had several tattoos of a cross on the right arm, a cross with fire on the left arm, and a tattoo on the inner left foot.

The body of John Doe was pronounced dead at 6:25 am AND is being transported to the Morgue at the National Forensic Science Service.
