By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 Semifinals are now set for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, will face Canada, led by Alphonso Davies, on Tuesday, July 9, at 7:00 pm at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Then, one day later on Wednesday July 10, James Rodríguez will lead Colombia in battle against Uruguay led by Darwin Núñez and captain Federico Valverde at 7:00 pm at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Argentina advanced on a 4-2 penalty-shootout win over Ecuador after a 1-1 regulation time draw on Thursday, July 4.

Canada also qualified on 4-3 penalty-shootout victory over Venezuela after a 1-1 on Friday, July 5.

Colombia pumped Panama 5-0 on Saturday in the only quarterfinal match to finish in 90 minutes.

On Saturday as well, Uruguay shocked Brazil 4-2 in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw.

The teams that lose in the semifinals will play for Third Place match on Saturday, July 13, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte at 7:00 pm.

The winners will clash in the Final on Sunday, July 14, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida at 7:00 pm.
